Accountable Talk

We are putting a spotlight on Accountable Talk to increase the amount that students answer orally in full sentences. Accountable talk also foster deeper connections between students.

Please encourage your child at home to answer orally in full sentences when chatting with you, (not just yes or no answers), or ask them to give reasons as to why they said something. Here is a fun starter video that shows the way we are speaking in our classroom when we listen to each other:
