Videos and Photos

Dear Parents
I have many videos, poetry readings and photos from throughout the year. There were too many gigs to send a memory stick or share in our G-Drives. I will be uploading them to a Dropbox site and posting a code. Please check back here for information. It should be ready by July 7th!

Have a wonderful summer!

Had time to spare at lunch...

We had a wonderful day at the Solstice Festival. Photos to come!
In the meantime, two girls came upon some fairy folk near a crop of rocks and trees during lunch: WOW! (Warning---when Miss.Sturgeon isn't doing marking, she is teaching herself Adobe Photoshop)

This week's Carnival!

Test Wednesday

Our class is writing their Ontario Divider's Licence Test on Wednesday. Practice some 3 digit by 1 digit division! Extra practice help is every last recess, so no excuses for not understanding!
Mrs.Wilson presents them every years in a small in-class 'ceremony'.

Final Countdown!

Our final weeks are arriving. These last few weeks of math will be a focus on division and some fractions, in addition to other strands and problem solving (as always) woven in. Students will be trying to earn their Ontario Dividers License this month!

Language will be practicing persuasive writing and reading out loud with good expression and intonation (through poetry) for oral communication.

Science will focus on Conservation of Energy.
