I know those nervous jitters are jumping in every kid's (and teacher's) stomachs right now! It's Back to School time! Please do not worry about school supplies. As long as your child has a pencil, eraser and glue stick, then we are good to go.There are lots of supplies in our classroom... plus last year's leftovers! Although we always need Kleenex/Facial Tissue box donations!
Parent Info night will be coming up fast. Please watch the Agenda for the notice.
Homework will be digital/online this year, if you have no internet access at your home, please let me know. We can accommodate, or you can explore National Capital Freenet, which many people forget exists (https://www.ncf.ca/). Feel free to print the sheets (if they are worksheet style) or answer the questions in the looseleaf style notebook that will be provided to you. Homework will (as usual) come home Monday and be due Friday. It is mostly practice of concepts we are working on during the week.
Watch for newsletters coming home the first week, there are always quite a few. I am looking forward to teaching Grade 5 this year and working again with many of the students I got to know last year!
