Christmas Basket Fundraiser

In case you would like to donate to our Christmas Basket Fundraiser, our theme is Anything Coffee! Send in any coffee related items to our class by the end of the week and Miss.Sturgeon will be putting together the basket for auction starting November 20th. Thanks!

Remembrance

Since Remembrance Day falls on a Saturday this year, our class is leading a small Peace Liturgy instead. We will however, be practicing In Flanders Fields for a song version of the poem. At home this evening and all week, please memorize the following:

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
    Between the crosses, row on row,
  That mark our place; and in the sky
  The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
  Loved and were loved, and now we lie
      In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
  The torch; be yours to hold it high.
  If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
      In Flanders fields.
