Miss. Sturgeon has been away all week sick with a very bad flu. She hopes to be back on Monday and hopes everyone is healthy and handwashing frequently. There was no homework duotang for this past week.

Focus this week
This week our focus is on Place Value up to 10 000. We are also working on Greater Than >, Less Than <, and comparing and ordering numbers. Homework in the duotang reflects this. Our science is spending time with Habitats and Animal Communities.

BACK TO SCHOOL!
Welcome back to our new 2009-2010 school year!
The first few weeks always features lots of newsletters, milk programs and schedules coming home. Check your child's mailbag often. Homework consists of a dark teal coloured duotang that comes home every Monday night. It is due back by Friday.
Time Capsule projects are due today. Lates will be accepted.
Program night is September 15th at 6:30pm in the gym.
