Math test re-writes

Please sign and return math tests and keep them in the yellow tests duotang. If you want to up your mark, or for those who should, the re-test is on Friday. Extra help is every last recess for those who want to review their errors and learn from them!

Scientists in Schools

Our Grade 5s will be having their Scientists in Schools visit on Thursday morning in our class! If you are in Grade 5, you don't want to miss it! We will be discovering more about wind power, working with real solar panels and discussing more about Renewable and Non Renewable resources with a specialist! FUN!

STUDY GUIDE HOMEWORK

We have a big unit test coming up Wed. May 16th in math. It is our measurement, perimeter and area test. For homework this week, students need to fill in their study guide. It is blank. It will be due Friday, and MUST be returned. We will correct the study guide and after all answers are rechecked, it will come home for the weekend to study with. If your child understands what is on the guide, there should be no surprises or difficulties on the test.

This week's homework is from the usual textbook, as follows:



Grade 4- pages 186 and 187. Then pages 190 and 191.


Grade 5- pages 246 to 248 all.


Grade 6 bonus text- pages 166-170 all.


Grade 5- Work on your science research project every night!
