Homework will be a short practice with the difference between the math vocabulary for congruent and similar.
There is also a pink log sheet coming home for Raz Kids. Students are encouraged to log in about twice a week and read, then record the title, a few word they learned (or larger vocabulary) and their quiz score. Keep this log in the homework book. The teacher will check it every week to see if anything was added.
Welcome to the information hub for Miss.Sturgeon (and Mr.Pickles the seal). This is where the Grade 3/4 Sturgeonites will meet to find links, homework and weekly classroom information.

Mathletics!
Our class is on a roll with Mathletics. Try to log in at home for work with Geometry. Tests can be re-done to up your score!
Fastest way to login: Make sure that you are logged into google/gmail with your ocsbstudent account.
ex: firstname.lastname.ocsbstudent.ca
Then go to mrt.ocsb.ca and go through the student portal. When you click on Mathletics, many computers will log you in automatically. If not, I am sending home Mathletics usernames and passwords anyways, just like we did for Prodigy.
Try it out! It's awesome for parents too. There is an entire Concept search section with dictionary of math terms and tutorial videos for all the math students need to know all the way up to high school!

Our first Mathletics Award Winners will be given their certificates tomorrow!
