Education Week: BUSY!

Here are the special events our class will be participating in this week (in addition to regular learning):

MONDAY:
am-Social Networking Safety Presentation for Grade 4 to 6 in the gym.

TUESDAY:
am-Education Week Mass
am-Deep Learning Collaborative Art Project- working with Primary Grades

WEDNESDAY
am-Rise and Shine Open House to show writing projects etc.
all day- Red, White, Black school colours day
am-Student-led Fundraiser Booths in Learning Commons

THURSDAY:
all day- Dance Showcase for select students in dance club
am- Clean Up the Capital
pm- Dance showcase for our students

FRIDAY:
pm- School Wide BINGO
pm-Sultans of String Whole School Music Performance
pm- evening- School Space Theme Dance

Divider's Licence

Students will be getting their Divider's Licence Cards shortly. We may decide to save them for Education Week (starts May 1st!) as Mrs. Wilson will present them in class and give a congratulatory handshake. FUN!

Reminders for the next two days:

1. Tomorrow is crazy hair day!

2. Friday is Blue and Green for Earth Day.

3. RED DUOTANGS- sign any recent quiz work and return it Friday.

*4. Students who need to be retested for anything will be working with Miss. Sturgeon Friday (Division brush-up practice OR Area and Perimeter practice).

Egg Hunt and donation

Tomorrow (Tuesday) our classes are doing an egg hunt for students who donate 50 cents for our Wild Bird Care Center fundraiser campaign. However, Miss Sturgeon, Mrs. Corrigan and Mrs O'Neil are away at a math workshop. Miss Sturgeon will be collecting donations Wednesday and doing the egg hunt on Wednesday instead.
