Lattice Method

As we are working on some two by two digit multiplication skills, we are trying different methods. A variation of the classic/traditional model that we are studying is the LATTICE method of multiplying. Many students like it better than classic style. We will be practicing this in class. Here is a video to explain. plus a game to try:

Christmas Homework this week

Make sure to check the Homework section. There is still homework this week---working on our multiplication of two and three digit numbers by two digit numbers. The students need to work on this skill as much as possible!

Our Christmas Concert is coming up!

Our Christmas Concert is coming up on Wednesday! There are two shows...one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both are identical. Please try to come out and support our students by watching their hard work.

PJ DAY tomorrow ( and bring a board game you enjoy)

Thursday already!!? We forgot to write in our Agenda's that it is PJ and Board Game Day tomorrow. If you bring a $2 donation...wear your jammies! Last block students will be playing some board games in class. FUN!
