Monday News

Monday (Feb. 26th) is our skating morning! Please bring your skates and helmet.

Due to the cancelation of busses on Friday, the Immersion half of our class will be attending their Engineering Egg Drop Challenge. They will not be skating, but boarding busses to go compete.

This means only our non-immersion 'all-dayers' will be skating, so it will be a smaller group. Volunteers are always still needed to help with skates and to join us on the ice. Mrs. Burgess' non-immersions, and Mrs. O'Neil's 8 students also skate with us.

Spirit Week

Tuesday (tomorrow's) colour day is RED AND WHITE!

Wednesday is WEAR YOUR FAVOURITE TEAM JERSEY day.




Thursday- St. Martin's Colours Day- Wear Black, White and Red.


Friday- TEAM BRAZIL DAY!! Wear Green, Blue, Yellow colours. It's also our CLOSING CEREMONY, so be prepared to cheer!

Miss.Sturgeon will be back

Miss. Sturgeon is starting to feel better and will return to work tomorrow at lunch, for the afternoon classes.

NEWS:
Miss. Sturgeon has been away sick since Thursday with influenza. She will be back soon. We have a student teacher in our classroom! Please welcome Mr. Steele practice teaching our Angles and Triangles Math unit.

Tuesday is our outdoor Olympic Playday! Dress for the morning weather.

Shrove Tuesday- One station will be hot pancakes and syrup for Shrove Tuesday.

Wednesday- Will be Ash Wednesday Mass first block. Valentine Exchange for students who wish to bring them, will be just before lunch with our morning homeroom class (11:45).

Studying

The long green paper coming home today is a practice test/study guide for our big Data Management test on Friday. This is the only homework this week, no regular online tasks will be posted. Try as many questions as possible. Look up definitions, or see if you can remember them from in class! The test will be very similar to the take home practice. Make sure to ask about things you are still unsure of! We have all week to still practice these concepts.
